Silver Oak, founded in 1972 by Ray Duncan and friend/winemaker Justin Meyer with a simple handshake and lot of hard work, raised the standards of California winemaking. Instead of producing several varietals, they made the unconventional choice to focus exclusively on Cabernet, producing complex, delicious wines – drinkable upon release or cellared for years to come.
