Chef Marco Gubbiotti’s illustrious career began after he graduated in 1990 from the prominent IPAS professional Culinary and Hotel Institute in Spoleto, Italy, followed by work at the restaurants Sette Monti and Villa Roncalli in Foligno, Il Trigabolo in Argenta, Astrance in Paris, Arnolfo in Tuscany and the featured Italian restaurant at the Winter Olympics Game in Norway.

Since 1998, Marco has been the Executive Chef for La Bastiglia restaurant in Spello, Umbria, achieving Michelin Star status in 2005. Additionally, he teaches at ALMA, the world’s leading international training center for Italian cuisine; and is the culinary consultant for the Perugia University, as well as the Umbria Region Administration.  He is also writing a book about the traditional and modern cuisine of Umbria.

Chef Gubbiotti lives in Foligno Umbria and is the father of two “gorgeous children.”
