Beurre D’Isigny Unsalted Butter

France

This is a premium butter made in the Veys Bay area and the surrounding valleys, comprising several French communes around Isigny-sur-Mer on the North Atlantic coast in Normandy, northern France. The milk used to make this butter comes exclusively from this geographic area, and is from cows that roam freely, grazing on grass on natural pastureland. The high level of anti-oxidant carotenoids from the grass is what gives this butter its rich, golden color.

Chef Ken picked this butter for its exceptional flavor. Once you’ve tried this butter, you will not want to go back to ordinary butter!
