Joining our host Chef Ken Frank of La Toque for the 2017 Napa Truffle Festival are three extraordinary master chefs: Chicago’s Matthias Merges of Matthias Restaurant Group, Italy’s Luca Veritti of Met Restaurant in Venice and Dallas’ Dean Fearing of Fearing’s Restaurant. As a special festival advance, Chef Dean, known as the “Father of Southwestern Cuisine,” shared his incredibly innovative recipe for Warm Black Truffle Lobster Taco. You can meet Chef Dean in person at the Napa Truffle Festival where he’ll do a cooking demo and prepare the menu for the Winery Truffle Lunch at Davis Estates. He’ll also participate in the festival’s signature Truffles & Wine Dinner at La Toque.
