Learn how to select, store and prepare truffles with Michelin starred Chef Ken Frank of La Toque as your guide.

Inquiring minds want to know!

What’s the difference between black and white truffles? And between European and native North American truffle species? See, smell and touch a variety of truffles with CBS Foodie Chap Liam Mayclem, and experience for yourself why some people love the Italian white truffle, while others prefer the Périgord black. Comparing against real truffles, you’ll uncover the limitations of truffle products like truffle oil and truffle salt. Hear Chefs Talk Truffles as Liam engages guest Michelin star/master chefs in truffle discussions. You’ll also taste delectable truffle bites prepared by our all-star chefs, and discover surprisingly interesting and fun facts about truffles and truffle hunting with world-renowned truffle scientist Dr. Paul Thomas (Did someone say “Sex and Truffles”?), and CPDT-KA certified dog trainer Alana McGee.
