All About Truffles is a revelatory, all-inclusive, interactive truffle experience that will give you an opportunity to explore and learn firsthand about the flavors, gastronomy, history and mystery of truffles – all within two hours!
Start with a refreshing glass of bubbly from Schramsberg Vineyard, then dive into some fun truffle tricks: smell, touch and evaluate various species of truffles and products with CBS Foodie Chap Liam Mayclem; learn how to select, store and prepare them with Michelin starred Chef Ken Frank of La Toque; discover surprising aspects of truffles with world-renowned truffle scientist Dr. Paul Thomas of American Truffle Company; and sample tasty truffle bites prepared by Chef Ken and Sandy Sauter, CIA’s Executive Chef of Public Programs, paired with a selection of Schramsberg wines. Plus, meet Rico the friendly truffle dog (petting allowed).
